What is the salary structure of the foundation?  All members, including the board, are 100% volunteers.  It is very important to us that donations and volunteer time is spent on community advocacy.  The administrative cost include professional tax services and legal services as needed.

When were you founded?  The Resource of Humanitarian Foundation approval process was approved by the State of Michigan and the US Federal government in July of 2014.

Why were you founded?  For 28 years, a group of professionals had conducted scholarship fund raising and community advocacy projects as a 501c(4). There were some partnerships with other foundations, but these partnerships were not always available, or the efforts were limited to what that particular foundation wanted to focus on.  The R.H.O. Foundation was started so we could continue the work we are doing and allow our supporters the benefits of supporting a 501c(3).  We recognize that you have a choice of foundations to support.  If you are reading this, then we thank you for considering the R.H.O. Foundation.
